    Sales Coordinator

    SALES COORDINATOR | SUMMER 2019

    Pieces of Me, a growing accessories brand based in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a talented individual to fill a part-time Sales Coordinator position for the winter of 2019, or in perpetuity based on future availability. Started in 2016, Pieces of Me currently offers a jewelry line consisting of cuff bracelets and necklaces, selling to online consumers and brick and mortar retailers alike. Applicants will benefit from a fast-paced, flexible, and fun work environment, as well as gain exposure to a variety of small business aspects. Potential to expand position to encompass additional responsibilities.

    Job Brief

    We are looking for a qualified sales coordinator/manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with wholesale customers and overseeing sales initiatives and processing.

    As a sales coordinator, the individual will work to onboard new customers, and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. A successful candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be customer service oriented.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and assist in the growth of wholesale accounts
    • Develop positive relationships with clients
    • Act as the point of contact to handle retailers individual needs
    • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
    • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
    • Report on account status and new transactions
    • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
    • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

                  Requirements

                  • Hands-on sales experience and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience
                  • Experienced with MS Office Suite; detailed Excel experience preferred.
                  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
                  • Decisive, organized, and detail-oriented, with special attention to timeliness.-Strong business acumen, and problem-solving attitude
                  • Working towards or holds a four-year degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field.
                  • Retail, jewelry, fashion, apparel, or outside/inside wholesale experience a plus.

                            Job Type: Part-time 15-20 hours/ week

                            Compensation: 15% commission & internship credit

                            Required Education: Hold or working towards Bachelors degree
